As my wife and I celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary this month, allow us to share something I found in Marriage 101 Series, When Two Becomes One: A Christian marriage is the permanent union of two born-again people of the opposite sex coming together in every way possible (intimately, emotionally, financially, etc) for the purpose of radical oneness that is modeled in the Trinity of the Godhead and for the goal of encouraging and equipping one another for the time when each individually appears before Jesus. May the Lord bless each marriage that pursues this ideal.
