Faith Based Licensed Professional Counselor

We are in need for licensed (LPC, LMFT) Christian faith-based counselors/therapists to work full or part time as a member of a treatment team dedicated to the psychological, emotional, and spiritual healing of clients. Successful applicants will have a sustained and demonstrative life of godly integrity, an education and experience level which allows them to integrate psychology and theology in their normal treatment modality, and have a reasonable work history. They must have initiative, the ability and willingness to market themselves and the counseling center, excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal relationship-building skills. Bi-lingual is a plus.

In keeping with our goal to integrate psychological and theological concepts of counseling, a master’s degree or higher from an accredited seminary or faith-based college is required.

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

We are looking for Christian faith based licensed associate counselors/therapists who need supervision. Successful applicants will have a sustained and demonstrative life of godly integrity, an education and experience level which allows them to integrate psychology and theology in their normal treatment modality and have a reasonable work history. They must have initiative, the ability and willingness to market themselves and or find employment or volunteer opportunities outside of the counseling center, excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal relationship-building skills. Bi-lingual is a plus.

Graduate Level Intern (Practicum Student)

(THESE POSITIONS ARE CURRENTLY FILLED BY TWO HIGHLY QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS)

Homestead Hope Counseling Services is looking for Christian faith based graduate level intern counselors/therapists who need an externship and on site supervision. Successful applicants will have a sustained and demonstrative life of integrity, an education and experience level that allows them to integrate psychology and theology in their normal treatment modality, have minimum of 3.0 GPA and a reasonable work history. They must have initiative, the ability to market themselves and a willingness to volunteer outside of the counseling center, excellent written and oral communication along with interpersonal relationship-building skills. Bi-lingual is a plus.

In keeping with our goal to integrate psychological and theological concepts of counseling, only those seeking a master’s degree or higher from an accredited seminary or faith-based college will be considered.

Senior Office Administrator

(THIS POSITION IS CURRENTLY FILLED BY TWO HIGHLY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS)

Full time office manager to service a Christian faith-based counseling center. The center is dedicated to the psychological, emotional and spiritual healing of clients. The successful applicant will have:

  • Ability and willingness to pray freely with distraught clients in their time of need
  • Life experience & maturity that allow them to interact with hurting people
  • A through working knowledge of computer programs such as Windows & Excel
  • The ability to learn specialty programs, in particular – Delphi
  • A verifiable work history of employment stability and dependability
  • Initiative with ability and willingness to work independently and unsupervised
  • The ability to organize, market and support the counseling center as needed
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in person and telephonically
  • Interpersonal relationship-building skills
  • Cross-cultural experience/knowledge of various backgrounds and belief systems
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
  • Familiarity of the medical and insurance industries is a plus

Assistant Office Administrator is NOT needed at this time.

Part time office administrator to service a Christian faith-based counseling center. The center is dedicated to the psychological, emotional and spiritual healing of clients. The successful applicant will have all of the same qualities as the Senior Office Administrator with two exceptions.

First, the assistant needs to be fully bi-lingual (English/Spanish).

Second, the assistant will be offered afternoon / early evening time slots on Tuesday – Friday, approximately 4 PM to 8 PM, and Saturday, approximately 8:30 AM to 6 PM. Hours will fluctuate some.
